Hi all,

May I suggest a little clarification to the above draft? It might be convenient to state in chapter 4.1. that the variable 'CurrentLinkID' is interface dependent:

"It should be noted that every interface have a system variable of its own."

RA is obviously valid only to the interface it was received on, or?

I saw that this was actually mentioned in chapter 5, but a host with multiple interfaces is not necessarily a router.

Hi Tero,

Thanks for the comment. It was intended that the whole LinkID process would be handled with separate instances for each interface. Somehow that slipped by without being explained clearly. I'll add that in, and possibly mention it in section 2 as well.
