Definition: 'A' size or 'A' series is a set of paper sizes established by the International Standards Organization (ISO). AThe size of the paper goes down as the number goes up, and each is half the size of the previous e.g. two A4 sheets make up an A3 piece and two A5 sheets make up an A4 sheet.

Dan Grimm found that the vista driver doesn't autorotate - but there is the xp and vista hp instant print utility that will allow you to open pdf and powerpoint and print and it autorotates and scales without having to go in and set all the settings.

For text heavy posters, there is negligible time difference between Best and Normal quality so use best. For Graphics heavy posters it depends on the type of inserted graphics.

If printing from powerpoint - tick the scale to fit paper size box on the print dialog
