Shared Systems is now in the process of upgrading our Linux Servers from RedHat to the Enterprise Server OS - either ES 2.1 or ES 3.0 depending on the requirement of the application SW. We also have two systems using AS. Red Hat only has "Enterprise Linux AS Academic Edition" & "Red Hat WS Academic Edition". http://www.redhat.com/solutions/industries/education/products/ However these offerings are not suited ITS at this stage, therefore we pay annual fee of the ES support for the servers.
