OMNeT++ Ethernet (bus, hub, switch, MAC, LLC) Models

THIS MODEL HAS BEEN MERGED INTO THE INET FRAMEWORK. IT IS NO LONGER MAINTAINED SEPARATELY.

The models operate according to the following standards:

• Gigabit Ethernet: IEEE 802.3z-1998
• Full-Duplex Ethernet with Flow Control: IEEE 802.3x-1997
• Fast Ethernet: IEEE 802.3u-1995
• Ethernet: IEEE 802.3-1998

Version 0.95 adds auto MAC address assignment, auto-configuration of transmission rate and duplex/half duplex mode, support for all frame types (Ethernet II, 802.3 with LLC, 802.3 with SNAP), and uses OMNeT++ 3.0a4's controlInfo(). It also sports a demo model with about 8000 computers and 900 switches and hubs, mixing all kinds of Ethernet technologies (model description).
