• Real-time control over wireless links
• Wireless mesh test network for performance analysis of various algorithms/protocols such as Virtual Localization Algorithms for wireless mesh networks project. We are creating the wireless mesh network in the student computer labs. We will remotely deploy the programs to the lab PCs and collect data after finishing an experiment. Here are some ideas for Remote Control of multiple Windows PCs for doing this.

Boards

• First Generation Packet Radio Module uses RS232 port
• Second Generation Packet Radio Module uses USB
• Third Generation Packet Radio Module will be faster and will have more intelligence packed in (we will use them for our Cellular Networks in a Lab project.

Software

• Datasheet that has an example of a CRC8 implementation (with C source code)
• Download programs for the wireless board (loopback_test, transmit_pulse, receive_pulse) (SOURCE ONLY for Visual C++)
